We all have problems and concerns from time to time. It is crucial to your happiness and success at University that you don't let small concerns or issues develop into unsurmountable problems. The Advice Centre is here to offer you advice and support on a wide range of issues and to help you make the right choices.
The services of The Advice Centre are available to all students at Imperial College. The Union runs the Centre independently of the College, so you can rely on our impartiality and confidentiality.
The Advice Centre is located within the East Basement of the Beit Quadrangle.
Some of the areas that the Centre covers include:
- Housing rights
- Employment rights
- Consumer rights
- Academic advice
- International Student Issues
- Debt Advice
The Centre also has a comprehensive leaflet library which covers areas such as Drugs, Personal Safety and Sexual Health.
The Advice Centre has a limited supply of personal attack alarms that are freely available to students and also has a supply of condoms that are freely available.
