Council is the governing body of the Union and is responsible for policy making and ensuring the Union is serving its students well.
A variety of issues are dealt with at Council, from Fairtrade to student accommodation, from smoking bans to our relationship with ULU and from the Union Building refurbishment project to national news breaking stories happening on our campus!
Any student can attend the monthly Council, so come along and make your voice heard. Alternatively, contact your Council Members with your views.
The President is responsible for setting the Council agenda and it is chaired by the Council Chair.
