Wind Power 2009

Wind Power is a special concert featuring the Imperial College Winds led by the world-renowned Band of the Coldstream Guards, which regularly performs at State Ceremonial events across London and further afield. The event will be hosted by Lord Winston with special guest star, the jazz-pop singer Victoria Hart. All concert proceeds to benefit student scholarships at Imperial. Wednesday 21 January, 18:30

Triumph for Felix in Guardian Student Media Awards

Imperial's Student Newspaper Felix triumphed last night at the Guardian Student Media Awards winning the hard-fought Student Newspaper of the Year category. Last year's editor, Tom Roberts, also won Student Journalist of the Year.

S.H.A.G. Week!

S.H.A.G. (Sexual Health Awareness and Guidance) Week is an annual campaign run by Imperial College Union to increase student's awareness of safer sex practices. It is run in association with Medsin's stop AIDS Campaign, which encourages students to think about sexual health in a global context. The activities range from bingo, forums, information stalls and treasure hunts so there's something for everyone!
