Triumph for Felix in Guardian Student Media Awards

Imperial's Student Newspaper Felix triumphed last night at the Guardian Student Media Awards winning the hard-fought Student Newspaper of the Year category. Last year's editor, Tom Roberts, also won Student Journalist of the Year.

S.H.A.G. Week!

S.H.A.G. (Sexual Health Awareness and Guidance) Week is an annual campaign run by Imperial College Union to increase student's awareness of safer sex practices. It is run in association with Medsin's stop AIDS Campaign, which encourages students to think about sexual health in a global context. The activities range from bingo, forums, information stalls and treasure hunts so there's something for everyone!

Healthy Living Week

Healthy Living Week aims to demonstrate to the Imperial community just how easy it can be to live a healthier lifestyle. There are some great free activities for you to try in Ethos and on Dalby Court as well as healthy cooking demonstrations, Body Health MOTs, plus healthy options in College and Union catering outlets. The week will end with a walk, jog or run event in Hyde Park on Friday 7 November.
Building Redevelopment Update

Work is well underway on phase two of the Beit Masterplan, the three phase project to modernise and make better use of the space in the Union Building, Beit Quadrangle. With works being carried out on a new Student Activities Centre, flexible dance and activity space and new meeting rooms; there are some exciting changes ahead.
