Chemistry
ChemSoc is a departmental society to which all chemists are automatically members. Our main role is to organise various events throughout the year, including the annual Freshers’ party at an upmarket South Kensington club and Cocktail Party on the Rooftop, ice skating at the Natural History Museum, various bar nights and club nights and the end of year BBQ.
These (often subsidised) events are a great opportunity for all students to have fun and tickets tend to sell out well in advance. In addition, ChemSoc organises guest lectures given by eminent figures in Chemistry and works closely with the Royal Society of Chemistry.
