Airsoft
Airsoft is one of the leading team combat sports in the world today, with thousands of people across the country taking part in regular skirmishes every week.
ICAirsofts’ stated aim is to allow as many people as possible to experience the intense action that is Airsoft! The sport shares its roots with the better known activity of paintball, with two teams competing to complete various objectives, but there is a much heavier emphasis on realism in Airsoft, with the plastic ball-bearings used as ammo allowing the weapons to resemble real firearms, and more dedicated players kitting themselves out in full combat gear!
As a club we organise trips to woodland and urban combat sites around England at least once a term, whilst coordinating trips to skirmishes in a central London site roughly every couple of weeks. We welcome people new to the sport as well as seasoned veterans. We will be showing off some of our hardware at the Freshers’ Fair so come and have a nosey!
