Ahlul Bayt
The Islamic Ahlul-Bayt society welcomes everyone with the intention of creating harmony, understanding and mutual respect in today’s dynamic society.
Our approach is one based on ethical discussion of philosophical, sociological, religious and political ideologies founded on universal human values. By striving for knowledge and wisdom, we wish to bridge the gaps created by ineffective communication and misconceptions, and to achieve understanding and compassion towards one another. Our events range from talks by renowned speakers on unique topics to informal discussion circles and social gatherings marking auspicious occasions. In the past, events we have held include: ‘Jesus in Islam and Christianity’ and ‘Science & Religion’ as well as activities such as calligraphy lessons, Arabic and sports. Perhaps you have some questions you would like to have answered or you would like to meet new people and share ideas; this will be the society for you.
